Status bags are some of the highest quality bags on the market. The thicker layer is 130 µm thick, the thinner layer is 100 µm. The layers consist of a combination of 30 (or 20) µm thick polyamide in the outer layers and 100 µm or 80 µm thick polyethylene in the inner layers. Polyamide provides impermeability, while polyethylene is food-safe and provides a high-quality seal. This means that your cured sausage will be stored in an airtight bag without oxygen, so you can be sure that it will retain its best taste.
